Experiencia negativa: Pésimo servicio, muy sucio, no permanece nadie en recepción, mucha bulla y no se puede descansar .. No lo recomiendo plata perdida...☹️

Experiencia positiva: It's a 3 floors building, straight at the beach. The first 2 floors have basic but good rooms with airconditioning, on the top floor there are 2 spacious family rooms with a high open roof. We enjoyed the first night in a room with AC, which is nice because Rincon is pretty warm. Don't expect luxury, but the room is fine. Then we stayed in the nice family room at the beach side, which is awesome! It's huge and it has a big nice balcony overlooking the sea. It has nice chairs and a couch to chill on and it has 2 good ventilators which you can place also on the balcony if desired. The location is perfect and right in de middle of everything, max walking distance is 15 minutes. Eric welcomed us and explained us all, he is helpful and he arranged perfectly the nice Plankton tour and boat transport. As mentioned on the less positive reviews: - bad musquito nets : True. To small, old and should be replaced by proper vertical nets covering the whole bed - basic bathroom with loose water tab: True. Can be improved. - bad host who is not helpful: untrue. Eric is really helpful and a nice guy - loud music and sounds of neighbour: the top floors are open (which gives a nice feel) and therfore you hear sounds. We didn't stay during a colombian festival day, and could therefore sleep perfectly with the sounds of the sea :)

Experiencia fantástica: El lugar está increible, la ubucación es buenisima y está justo frente al mar. Funciona estilo airbnb, sin recepcionista asi que te sientes en casa. Sin embargo si necesitas ayuda en algo, hay una persona que puede darte información o ayudarte con tours. Hay una cocina muy bien equipada que puedes usar, sin embargo el restaurante a lado del hostal es muy rico y económico! Mis mascotas fueron recibidas sin ningún problema, obviamente no en las camas y siempre cuidando de ellas. La verdad fué un gran descanso pasar mis vacaciones en este lugar. Muy recomendado!

Experiencia negativa: Rapport qualité-prix indécent, fuyez ! Pour le point positif : la maison est sur la plage, vous ne pourrez pas être plus proche de la baignade … même si ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel, il faut dire que la plage est très sale (plastique, déjection de chien) mais ça c’est partout à Rincon. Pour les points négatifs : - chambre vétuste, robinetterie même pas fixée - Éric le gestionnaire est d’une nonchalance et d’un irrespect déconcertant (il rote quand il vous parle)…. En trois jours, il n’a fait rien à part squatter le hamac et pourtant il faudrait nettoyer les parties communes. Il n’a même pas pris le temps de changer la bonbonne d’eau commune pour que les clients puissent en avoir pour leur cuisine … tout ce qui l’intéresse c’est extirper de l’argent aux touristes (il fait quand même payer les transferts pour les enfants de moins de trois ans alors que personne ne le fait en Colombie). Nous confirmons que les planctons ne servent à rien les soirs de pleine lune … des clients y sont allés convaincus par Éric que les conditions étaient parfaites et évidemment ils n’ont rien vu. - Extrêmement bruyant : toute la nuit de la musique qu’on soit sur rue ou plage - Les chambres du deuxième étage sont certes spacieuses mais totalement ouvertes et les moustiquaires fournies ont des trous. La seule utilité d’Éric du voyage a été de nous déplacer dans une chambre fermée. - Rien n’est fait pour le confort : ça ne mange pas de pain d’ajouter un petit tapis de salle de bain pour éviter le sable partout ou autre … Bref pour ce prix là pour vous trouverez largement mieux et il est temps que le propriétaire redresse la barre de son hôtel !

Experiencia fantástica: Un lugar agradable y cómodo para tener un buen descanso. Su playa es tranquila, el acceso es muy fácil desde San Onofre, la habitación grande y con todo lo necesario. Recomiendo este lugar para alojarse y disfrutar del mar y la naturaleza.

Experiencia positiva: Chambre simple avec le strict nécessaire ( salle de bain privative + climatisation ). Eau froide pour la douche mais prévisible aux vues des lieux et de l'approvisionnement en eau difficile à Rincon En revanche aucun service fourni ( nous n'avons vu personne jusqu'à notre départ pour payer .... ) dommage. Possible de trouver mieux/similaire pour un peu moins cher ...

Experiencia positiva: Ça pourrait être un endroit vraiment top si l'intention y était mise.. la base est pourtant bonne. Une petite Beach House plantée dans le sable à 5 mètre de la mer, parfait. Mais le confort n'y est pas. Rincon est un endroit peuplé par les moustiques et le minimum qu'un hébergement puisse faire c'est d'installer des moustiquaires dignes de ce nom, surtout quand la chambre est ouverte aux quatre vents. Nous avons eu droit à des moustiquaires trop petites par rapport aux lits et trouées. Le carnage fut au rendez-vous. Les matelas sont également peu confortable. Sur 3 nuits pas une seule n'a été bonne... vraiment dommage il ne manquait pas grand chose. Av si vous souhaitez du calme c'est pas là non plus.

Experiencia fantástica: RINCON EST UN PARADIS ! Eric la force tranquille de ce paradis ! Le coucher de soleil sur la plage … moment inoubliable. Les enfants du pueblo qui jouent au foot, au cerf-volant … Une vraie déconnexion ! J’espère que nous continuerons d’être réveillés à 7h par la vie locale ! Le touriste est sur un visiteur à RINCON et j’espère que jamais cela ne s’inversera ! Super espace cuisine qui permet de cuisiner les ressources locales. Très grande chambre, beaucoup d’espace ! On se sent comme à la maison !

Experiencia fantástica: La gente es lo mejor que tiene rincón del mar, el hotel perfecto, mejor de lo esperado.

Experiencia negativa: Chambre chère, matelas instable et grinçant, réveil assuré dès 7 heures du matin, aucun ménage en 3 jours, vols commis chez les voisins (le gérant a retrouvé l’argent dans l’escalier-> vous êtes en sécurité!!!!), accueil froid, bruyant. Cet hôtel ne vaut ni 3 étoiles ni la note qui lui est ici donnée à moins d’être peu regardant!

Experiencia positiva: El ambiente muy agradable las locaciones comunes muy cómodas, hicieron aseo en la habitacion todos los dias. El aire se enciende únicamente de forma automática a de 7 pm a 7am y no nos pusieron abanico hasta que lo solicitamos, sin banico en el dia no se puede entrar a la habitacion por el calor. Nos dijeron que no se podía dejar el carro en la puerta y amaneció otro carro en la puerta.

Experiencia positiva: Ich würde 2 einhalb Sterne vergeben....⭐⭐ Wir hatten das Zimmer im zweiten Stock mit Blick nach hinten und auf die Straße. Der Raum war sauber und die Betten waren gut. Das Bad müsste dringend renoviert werden. Der Wasserhahn wurde mit einer Schnurr angebunden damit er nicht komplett abfällt. Überhaupt müsste das ganze Haus saniert werden. Es gab zwar einen Hausmeister der anscheinend andere Dinge zu tun hatte.... Auch zur Sicherheit: Es gab zwar ein Schloß am Eingang das allerdings nicht abgeschlossen wurde,gerade am Abend für mich ein No-Go Es konnte jeder rein und raus gehen. Der Straßenlärm war täglich ab 6 Uhr morgens zum schlafen nicht wirklich schön. Der Strand war ganz gut nur für mich persönlich zu überlaufen.⛱️ und zu vollgebaut mit kleinen Hütten.

Experiencia negativa: En primer lugar, tuve un problema severo con el administrador del hotel ya que un día el aire acondicionado tuvo una avería a lo cual un técnico de reparación fue al hotel y no sabemos si entro a la habitación en supervisión del administrador. Posteriormente, había dejado mi billetera con una cantidad de dinero que fue desaparecida y nunca reparada justamente luego de este suceso. Queda un sin sabor ya que el administrador Erick no está al pendiente de las personas que se hospedan en el hotel y en este caso no fue precavido sobre esta situación. La verdad por este suceso no recomiendo este sitio para hospedarse en sus vacaciones en Rincón del Mar.

Experiencia fantástica: Genial! Habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Ubicación inmejorable frente al mar y cerca a todo. La presión de las duchas y las almohadas parecen detalles pequeños pero hacen una gran diferencia. Definitivamente volveré. Lugar super recomendado!!

Experiencia fantástica: El hotel es cómodo, limpio y tranquilo. Muy amable Erick en su trato y disposición para lo que se necesite. De resaltar las atenciones de Beatriz, inmejorable hoster, amable, carismática y muy servicial. El lugar es súper recomendado para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza (de lunes a viernes porque los fines de semana, los lugareños aprovechan para disfrutar de sus fiestas). También cabe resaltar la cantidad de basura en las playas. Punto negativo tratandose de un lugar tan bello.

Experiencia positiva: Hotel bardzo dobrze położony, natomiast pokoje są bardzo proste bez ciepłej wody z wygodnym tarasem i leżakami na plaży. Największy minus to, że na łóżkach były poplamione prześcieradła, co nie powinno mieć miejsca przy dość wysokiej cenie za pobyt. Uwaga przy płatności gotowką, właściciel nie wydał nam reszty, najpierw powiedział, że przyniesie za 10 minut ale tak się nie stało. Na drugi dzień przy wymeldowaniu już go nie było w hotelu i nikt z obsługi nie był w stanie nam pomóc, niby to tylko 10 tysięcy ale niesmak pozostał.

Experiencia fantástica: We had the best time here - planned for two days and stayed 2+ weeks! The rooms are great, it's the best spot on the beach, fall asleep listening to the waves, and both the owner and Eric the manager are wonderful & super helpful - definitely go on Eric's plankton tour, it's one the best things you'll ever do. We miss Rincon so much already and we're only up the coast!

Experiencia fantástica: Be careful: you will want to extend your stay here. We initially booked two nights but ended up staying four, and probably would have stayed longer if we had the time. We loved the chilled and relaxed atmosphere created by both Stuart and Erick. Beds were big and comfy, water on the house, great sunbeds and hammocks in front… honestly, you don’t need much more to have a good time. Rincon and and especially Mamallena have a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to come back ✨

Experiencia fantástica: Rincon est un petit coin de paradis. Et le mamallena est parfait pour découvrir l atmosphère chill des Caraïbes. Une grande maison d hôte ouverte sur la plage avec transat et hamac (sunset amasing) chambre propre avec mobilier et literie haut de gamme (mention spéciale pour les coussins). L emplacement est ideal. A deux pas des bons petits restos de la plage. Le personnel est charmant discret et le propriétaire fera tout pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Bref on s'y sent comme a la maison. Hâte de revenir Avant de partir réserver un massage avec Aleyda, son massage a l aloe Vera était divin et nous a sauvé des coups de soleil

Experiencia fantástica: Muy bueno el lugar... El dueño Patrick y sus colaboradores son muy amables. Tiene una buena cocina para aquellos que les gusta ahorrar y cocinar. Solo puedo hablar por el cuarto donde nos hospedamos que es el del primer piso, muy cómodo, colchón cómodo y con aire acondicionado...tengo entendido que no todas las habitaciones tienen uno. Da la impresión como si tuviera playa "privada" ya que la propiedad es más grande de lo que se ve y el dueño no ha querido poner más negocios al lado, entonces es muy tranquilo el lugar. De por si que Rincón del Mar es tranquilo, es un lugar para descansar...no tengas a sentir estafado ni te van a molestar la vida...recomiendo el tour del plantón luminoso. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar en esta propiedad.

Las toallas estaban super manchadas, la cortina y la ducha tenían moho.. No les hace falta tener una recepción 24 horas, erick hace un trabajo fenomenal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Experiencia negativa: Rincon del mar is a beautiful place - but this hotel really needs some work. We stayed in multiple rooms during our stay because 2 of the rooms we stayed in had bathrooms which leaked pretty badly with a terrible smell. Towels weren’t changed, rooms weren’t cleaned adequately, bins weren’t changed, soap dispensers weren’t filled etc. The deluxe family suite is also partially outside so it gets very noisy and the room attracts mosquitos. The sheets were stained and you just felt quite dirty whenever you spent time in the rooms. The benefits of the hotel are the location, you are on the most beautiful beach and near to so many lovely restaurants. The staff are friendly, Eric was v helpful with booking onward transport. The hotel has a lot of potential but is very dysfunctional. With a bit of TLC it could be a nice place to stay in the future.

Experiencia positiva: Un lugar bonito pero le falta a amor a los empleados, la playa tiene mucho potencial pero no le dedican el cariño necesario para que sea más agradable. En cuanto a las habitaciones son amplias y comodas un punto a favor. Sus alrededores un pueblito como todos los costeros pero agradable y muy bien en temas de lugares para comer.

Experiencia fantástica: Stayed 4 nights at Mamallena Beachside in August '22. Can't recommend this place enough. The location on the beach is perfect, close to many bars and restaurants whilst not being too noisy, with a great space out the back of the property with hammocks and chairs to watch the world go by and catch a sunset or 2 (we found we had very little motivation to move from this spot!). Plenty of games and cards in the shared area too. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good modern air con units installed. Huge thanks to Stuart for the recommendations during our stay and for making us feel so welcome, as well as Eric for sorting out excursions.

Las habitaciones son amplias y confortables, con aire acondicionado y vista al mar, los baños son amplios y limpios, las camas soN SÚPER CÓMODAS, tiene zonas comunes y la playa siempre está limpia. Su personal es muy servicial y amable, siempre dispuestos. Puedes cocinar también si así lo deseas! Súper recomendado y obvio volveré !!

Experiencia negativa: Attention ce n'est pas un hostal car pas de réception, plutôt un rbnb mais avec cuisine commune et chambres à part.Cuisine trop petite (on se marche dessus) pour le nombre de chambres, réfrigérateur salle. La plage devant n est pas nettoyé plastique bouteille et détritus. Alors que devant certains autres hôtel le passage nettoyage se fait correctement. Si je te tourne à rincon je ne reviendrai pas dans ce rbnb.

Experiencia fantástica: Mamallena el mejor lugar en Rincón del Mar! sin duda superó mis expectativas por precio, ubicación, servicio, limpieza, comodidad y naturaleza. El propietario es un excelente anfitrión, se nota su experiencia en el sector hotelero, el lugar es impecable, pude dormir delicioso, con aire y vista al mar, todo un sueño; me sorprendió positivamente la cantidad de turistas extranjeros. Mamallena es acogedor y divertido, siempre hay algo para hacer. Viajé sola y me sentí segura y bienvenida por los lugareños, los otros viajeros y el anfitrión que desde que empecé a planear mi viaje me asesoró con las mejores recomendaciones. Puedes llevar tu comida y cocinar, o también hay lugares de comida deliciosa por muy buen precio, me conmovió ver como son una gran familia de pescadores generoso que disfrutan recibiendo a todos los que queremos conocer este paraíso.

Experiencia positiva: Las habitaciones pequeñas con A/C son simplemente espectaculares. Las de la planta superior, con ventilador, no me gustaron tanto, ya que se oía el ruido de la calle de forma considerable y había espacio por encima de la puerta y la cristalera que me generaban cierta inseguridad. Sin duda repetiría en las habitaciones 3-4, las mejores con diferencia!

Rooms are spacious, beds are good, the place feels new and comes with a large common kitchen, all at a very reasonable price. The owner Stuart is helpful and always in for a nice chat. Recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: We stayed 5 days in Stuart hostel, and it was an amazing experience. The rule N°1 is to take your time, enjoy the calm of Rincon, enjoy the view from the room, cook you a meal (or go to the restaurants the lobster is great and cheap), chill with Stuart and Eric in the hammac. Well, a great program to have a break! Thank you Stuart, we would love to come back longer!

Experiencia fantástica: I've stayed at a lot of hostels and this one is by far one of my favorites. I went thinking I'd stay one night but ended up staying a week. Right on the beach, plethora of hammocks and has an excellent, clean, full kitchen. The entire place kept clean all around. The best part is the beds are so comfortable, which is something Iook for in a hostel. The owner was really cool, friendly and has two adorable pups which add to the homey-beach feel. I highly recommend you stay here at Rincon!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Mamallena in Rincon del Mar is a great place to chill out for a few days or week. Everything is pretty much new. Aircon in the rooms. Nice wooden deckchairs, hammocks and loungers out front and right on the nicest bit of beach in town. Have an arepa de huevo from the girl on the other side of the street for breakfast and buy some fish from the locals and cook it up. Hit Dubai restaurant for some mini lobster tails and head down to Dos Aguas a nice ten minute walk along the beach for a cocktail or two. I'll be back

Experiencia fantástica: Es un lugar muy tranquilo, excelente ubicación, con cómodas instalaciones, aire acondicionado, habitaciones con vista al mar, cocina que puedes utilizar a tu gusto y a muy buen precio. Te sientes como en casa!! Recomiendo mucho este lugar. Pasamos un súper fin de semana!!

Experiencia fantástica: Es un lugar excelente para descansar y disfrutar las playas de Rincón del Mar. Está frente a la playa, es agradable y relajado, el ambiente es perfecto y la ubicación también. La habitación súper limpia, cómoda, con aire acondicionado, balcón y vista al mar. De los mejores sitios y el precio es razonable. Volvería sin pensarlo =)

Experiencia fantástica: Best beach to visit from Cartagena, I had been to this area before but didn't like the hotel options. Found Mamallenas to be hassle free (as in no sellers hassling me for hours everytime I went out the door or onto the beach like in Cartagena) very clean and comfy with a beach view from my room. Walk straight onto the beach or escape into the hotel where the staff are very friendly and enjoy a beer and a chat. I also organised a tour with reception which was great

Experiencia fantástica: Rincon del Mar is a beautiful place, The Mamallena hostel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and almost all have a beautiful view of the beach, with balconies and deck chairs. Very clean. The dehor below is perfect for resting or having an aperitif at sunset .. Super! Highly recommended!
