Gym San Antonio

Experiencia positiva: 60,000 to join for a week, flat rate paid in cash. However it’s 8:30am on a Monday, I was told they open at 5am and the doors are closed and locked. Last night was festival night so no doubt that’s why the late open. There are quite a few machines to use but not many free weights and the area to use them is quite small. The second floor has spin bikes and a personal training area as well as more machines.

Experiencia negativa: Such a shame. Nice gym, I liked the rustic look and two levels but I would say it was already expensive and then they added on a 7,000 cop charge on top of the 20,000 day fee to pay by card. A 35% charge to pay on card is a joke. Cash point is 30 mins walking round trip and I wanted to get a workout done. Fair enough cash is king here but that has left a sour taste and there are literally so many gyms here I wouldn’t go back and just because how muggy they are I wouldn’t recommend. Also cafe upstairs which looked nice but again I didn’t bother because they’d probably add on another 35% card charge on that as well. Also another chap was trying to push to charge me 30,000 like it was all a big game. Gyms are supposed to be a safe space with like minded people to improve their bodies not all these games over paying for a day pass. Big disappointment

Experiencia fantástica: I trained here for a week on vacation. Incredible gym with everything you need. I didn't go during peak hours, during non peak it was excellent. Great and helpful staff. Plenty of equipment and great atmosphere to train. Loved the mini jungle in the gym.

Experiencia positiva: We came at around 8 am on a weekday. The place is fairly small, and there were already about 10 people there, which made it feel packed and had to navigate around each other. The selection of equipment isn't bad, but it doesn't seem to be maintained to its best. For 20,000 I preferred to go somewhere else. They do offer protein shakes and food which is always appreciated

Experiencia negativa: Not a great atmosphere, weights are everywhere and not marked. Pins in the cable machines are missing, it's messy and not so clean. It gets quite busy, there is no area to stretch nor do abs etc. Ah, for some reason phones are strictly prohibited. They charge double of other gyms, 20,000COP per single entry. I wouldn't go back.

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym. I just joined and everyone was very helpful. They even spoke English. I was assisted by the personal trainer who took my measurements so I can track my progress. Cost is 70mil each month. They also have a daily and weekly rate if you are just visiting. This place also has a kitchen where you can get healthy meals made for you at a fair price.They don’t have a lot of cardio machines or any treadmills. There are a few bikes on the upper level and two self powered running machines. The trainer here is very helpful & knowledgeable.

Experiencia fantástica: Me gusta el seguimiento con mi proceso. La rutina es explicada de manera juiciosa y llevan un control serio y continuo de tal manera que siento el avance. Agradezco el acompañamiento y motivación de los entrenadores. Me gusta y me disfruto muchisino mi entrenamiento!

Experiencia fantástica: Great gym with good equipment. There is a kitchen for on site meals that are lean and full of protein. Price: 20k for entry 9k for whey isolate with ice (26g) 6k for whey with ice (23g) Taste is good Personnel is nice and helpful. You can pay by card as of 15k. Location is in a nice neighbourhood and they mostly play salsa music in the gym. The gym is mostly empty before noon on week days.

Experiencia positiva: Cool gym in the heart of San Antonio. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. No phones allowed in the weights/machines area, which I loved. Ideal for a proper workout. The daily workout is 20,000 pesos and the weekly plan is 50,000 pesos. Protein shakes and supplements are also available. Card payments accepted over 15,000 soles. On the negative side: closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays full day.

Experiencia negativa: Not the best experience here, tbh. I wasn't really sure how the system works joining a gym in Colombia. I speak spanish and I think was fair and patient but the staff just seemed annoyed dealing with me. Giving me really short unclear explanations. I asked if they'd write down the details of membership and the guy told me no outright because "he doesn't do that" I didn't feel welcome and wouldn't return.

Experiencia fantástica: Une salle de sport complète, avec du matériel en excellent état, un accueil souriant et chaleureux (merci à Liceth et Jhara). Le coach présent est très sympathique aussi et de bons conseils (merci Bryan). L'entrée est à 20000 pesos, la protéine à boire 7000 pesos, il y a des casiers pour ranger ses affaires, douche et toilettes. Je recommande, et je reviendrai ! Un gimnasio muy completo, con infraestructuras y máquinas bien cuidadas y nuevas. Te acogen con sonrisa y buenas ondas (gracias a Liceth y Jhara). El coach Bryan es de buen consejo, y muy amable. La entrada 20000 pesos Proteina 7000 pesos Hay casilleros para dejar tus cosas en seguridad, hay baños y duchas limpias. Recomiendo y regresaré!

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente acompañamiento, muy personalizado para tus rutinas de entrenamiento físico. Ambiente muy agradable y personal muy comprometido con apoyarte en tus ejercicios. Con ustedes aprendí que a la gente no le hace falta fuerza, le hace falta determinación si no sacas tiempo para el ejercicio, lo terminarás sacando para la enfermedad.
